📢 2023 Roadmap - Missions, Friends, Clubs & more teasers!

Since the start of the year, we’ve been focused on bringing Pocket Champs to the next level by launching Update 2.0 - Champion’s Journey in March! 🥰

That was only the beginning… Driven by your feedback, influenced by your desires, please enjoy the first glimpse of how we want Pocket Champs to evolve in 2023!

First things first!

The following sneak peeks are only a plan of our goals. Keep in mind these concepts may change before release. That being said… Let’s dive right in!

Your most competitive Pocket Champs experience, ever!

Oh yeah, we’re redesigning Tournaments from the ground-up! That means changing absolutely everything - frequency, duration, ranking system and, of course, the prize pool for a more rewarding competition!

As of today, we’re still exploring several concepts: Should it have Qualification Rounds that have you climb up through Tournament Divisions to gain access to improved prize pools? Can it be a Forever Tournament with zero downtime between competitions? Who knows, we could even add daily rewards for participating! 😋

Most importantly, we want to make the #1 Rank even more special by offering exclusive rewards for those who gave it their all! So make sure your Champ is in top shape and stay tuned for details this Spring! 

😎 Expanded Collection

Express yourself with more than Skins!

Here’s something we all agree on: there are never enough rewards to unlock! This year, we want to take it a step further by giving you more customization options. (To all completionists out there, this is for you!)

Your collection deserves some love beyond Skins or Gadgets, and we’re full of ideas - custom Animations, Emojis, Badges, Effects, Themes, you name it! It’s way too early to confirm any of those, but we’re excited about giving you more to enjoy Pocket Champs your way. Let us know what you’re hoping for the most! 🥰

To make room for new types of unlocks, you can expect the Skins menu to become a Collection inventory, with better hints to understand where to unlock everything while keeping track of your overall progress!

✅ Pocket Missions

Always have something on your to-do list!

Are you an overachiever? Then perhaps this will be just the thing you’ve been hoping for! We intend to spice up your Coach career by offering you a variety of challenging feats to perform - yes, with rewards!

This could take many forms - from Daily or Weekly Missions that repeat themselves, to Limited-Time Seasonal tasks that unlock exclusive content, to a list of permanently available Achievements that reward your overall progress (such as the Speed Boost you earn for unlocking Skins). Should we do it all? 😅

No matter the format, rest assured there will be something in it for you: Gems, Coins, Tickets, Skins, Gadgets and even more wonderful rewards thanks to the Expanded Collection we’re working on! 

🏆 Friends & Clubs

Recruit your friends and win together!

For all team players out there, this is the big one! Planned for the second half of 2023, Clubs will be our most ambitious update, adding often-requested social features to unite Coaches from all around the world!

Can you picture it? 🤯 Building and customizing your own Club, adding Friends to chat and co-operate with by sending helpful Perks to each other, building your reputation as you win fierce Club Races to qualify for the ultimate, high-stakes Championship! Will you have what it takes to claim the #1 Worldwide Club Rank? 

Our dream is for all players to build awesome friendships and make wonderful memories while playing Pocket Champs, and we hope you’re just as excited about this as we are. More details this Summer!

• A crazy amount of Skins: Trust us, you haven’t seen half of the Shapes your cute Champ can change into! Our Art Team is finally ready to unleash some of their new 2023 creations starting this April!

• More surprising Gadgets: Champs are never done creating new, quirky Gadgets with whatever they can find! Look forward to even more unique choices when it comes to picking the best strategy!

• Regular Special Events: After last year’s Spooky Season & Snow Trip, you’ve been clamoring for more! It’s on the way, we’re just taking a bit more time to be creative and ensure these Events stay awesome!

• 1st Year Anniversary: Wow, time sure flies! This Summer, it will have been 12 months of Pocket Champs since its Worldwide Launch! How do you think we should celebrate? Share your suggestions!
