💪 Upgrades for Champ Abilities!
The wait is almost over — your Hall of Fame is expanding next month! With a stylish new look and 5 extra Frames to complete, you’ll finally be able to upgrade your Champ’s Abilities for bigger speed boosts! Expect new Gadgets to be added as well, starting with the Wave Runners and Soaring Dragon! Update 5.9 is really close — please stay tuned! (📝 Learn more about it in last month’s Dev Diary!)
🏆 An All-New Champion League!
This Summer, we’re revamping what awaits you at the end of the Trophy Road! Curious about what this means? New kinds of Races? Special rules or Gadget perks? Extra progression milestones to achieve? Special rewards to claim? Hmm… Yes! It’s all of that, and more to come!! Being a Champion is about to get a lot more satisfying! (📝 Want to learn more? Details will soon be revealed in our next Dev Diary!).
🍰 3rd Anniversary Celebrations!
No way! Has it really been 3 years since Pocket Champs launched worldwide? There’s only one way to celebrate this — Dragons. Dragons? Yes! Dragons everywhere!! A true festival of dragons awaits you when we kick-off festivities this August — look forward to rewarding weekend Events featuring new Collection content to find as well as new community moments to share together! We can’t wait!
⚡ The Next Evolution of Gadgets!
So, you’ve upgraded all your Gadgets to Level 13... What now? Great question! For the first time, we can confirm that we intend to expand on the way Gadget progression currently works. Exactly how remains to be decided, but our goal is simple: giving you more customization than ever when it comes to Gadgets, rather than just unlocking the same upgrades as everyone else. We hope to give you a first look this Fall!

Abilities. Gadgets. Power. Thanks to your efforts as a Coach, your Champ benefits from it all to keep winning against all odds. From our recent surveys, you told us that helping your Champ go faster and faster is a core part of what makes Pocket Champs fun. We believe there’s room for more — an all-new progression system that we will keep mysterious for now… But that will pave the way for the future!
