📆 When will Update 7.0 be available?
Later this August, there will be a 7.0 Early Access period on Android for randomly selected players.
This short Early Access period (usually ~2 weeks) helps us verify app stability and provide fixes.
Stay tuned on social media — as soon as 7.0 is available for all players, we will confirm it there!
DISCOVER YOUR NEW CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!
With its new reward system, increased Race variety and expanded Trophy Road progression, the Champions League has more to offer than just a fresh new look!
📝 Here’s a quick recap of what’s changing:
• Instead of requiring 100,000 Trophies, the Champions League now begins at 50,000 Trophies!
• Instead of staying at the top of the Trophy Road, you’ll be climbing through the new Island Cups!
• Instead of only facing familiar Races, expect 150+ new Races in the mix with surprising random rules!
• Instead of opening Big Chests only, you’ll find Themed and Legendary Chests on your way up!
📆 As we’ve said in recent Dev Diaries, this is only the first step for big Trophy Road changes coming to Pocket Champs for all players, in all Leagues!
🥰 Starting with the new Champions League is our way of saying thank you to our most passionate players, especially during our 3rd Anniversary Celebrations — we sincerely hope you’ll love it!
💡 Note: For players who currently have more than 50,000 Trophies, your Trophies total will stay the same after updating, but your Power might be slightly increased for rebalancing purposes (we’re only adding, not removing!). As always, please keep in mind that you will not retro-actively receive Trophy Road rewards that are being changed/added below your current Trophies total (unless it’s a unique unlock).
INTRODUCING ISLAND CUPS!
Just like the Master League, the Champions League now has various themes — the Island Cups!
These will spice up your Trophy Road challenges: each Island Cup will modify what kind of Races you’ll face, suggest which Gadgets to prioritize upgrades for, and offer themed Rewards to help you progress!
👉 At launch, the new Champions League will feature 4 Island Cups — Spooketition, Legendaring, Entertraining and Technomek! (You can expect more to be added later… 👀)
These come along with 150+ new races packed with random rules and modifiers from Gadget Ascent, so even the most formidable Coaches can expect some increased mayhem! (and yes, we’ll add more 👀)
💡 Keep in mind you must complete your current Island Cup before the Trophy Road selects a new theme for you that refreshes all your Races and Rewards.
🎁 Every time you complete 3 Island Cups, you’ll get a guaranteed Legendary Chest reward! We’ve also updated Themed Chests so that they guarantee a Gadget Reward from the related theme!
In Other News...
Themed Fortune Wheel Changes
• Because Themed Chests have been rebalanced as part of the new Champions League, the Themed Fortune Wheel event where you could previously get them will be removed entirely. Players will instead have access to the classic Fortune Wheel Permanent Event.
Fortune Wheel Changes
• Because Legendary Chests have become guaranteed rewards within the Champions League’s Trophy Road progression, they will be removed from the classic Fortune Wheel’s selection of rewards.
