🥳 2026 Dev Update — Dreaming of what’s next for Pocket Champs!

Happy New Year 2026 to our wonderful community! 🎉
I’m Madbox Héracléa, Game Producer for Pocket Champs, and on behalf of the entire team at Madbox, I want to thank you all for the passion you’ve shown for our little game! 🥰
Since 2022, it has fueled our desire to make it reach new heights, and this year’s no different! Find below our complete New Year message to our fans! 👇

Perfecting What You Love
Throughout 2025, thousands of you took the time to participate in our surveys, sharing thoughts about existing game features and wishes for future concepts — a true gold mine of inspiration for us! 👀
You will see a direct result of that with the definitive Trophy Road experience we’re eager to release soon — a culmination of months spent perfecting concepts to keep Pocket Champs fun and rewarding forever, including more opportunities for Champion League players to choose which Gadget rewards they’ll get!
You also voiced your appreciation for our recent themed events (Sweet Potion, Yummy Rush, Winter Cozy Café) and after a short break in January we’ll be back at full speed starting with chill Arctic vibes! 😉🧊
As obvious as it sounds, we don’t want to fix what’s not broken! The Pocket Champs experience you love is here to stay, stronger than ever as we’re intent on keeping a higher rhythm for new content releases — all the while fixing as many pesky glitches as we can to ensure correct gameplay and app stability! 💪

Delivering Bold New Ideas
What does the next leap in gameplay look like? If we’ve learned anything, it’s that making major changes to our game takes time and needs to be done hand in hand with our community — and carefully so! 😅
Recently, our focus has been on establishing a new vision for Gadgets and their upgrades — a core aspect of the game that we absolutely know can shine much more and feel more rewarding overall.
We initially wanted to deliver simple improvements last year, but changed our approach as we don’t want to take any shortcuts: doing right by you means going for the bold changes that reflect your feedback. 😎
Although that means you’ll have to wait a bit longer (this project truly is huge, like designing a new game 😵), giving ourselves this chance is how we’ll keep Pocket Champs fresh for years to come! Stay tuned!!

Exploring New Horizons
Our efforts won’t just stop at the Trophy Road and Gadgets, of course! While some aspects of the app have benefited from dozens of improvements, others are very much in need of a fresh coat of paint!
For one, there’s the newcomer experience — and not just improving the tutorial! 😁 We hope to come up with a fun new way of interacting with your Champ for stronger first impressions, and long-term enjoyment!
Up next would be the game’s Events — the list of which has grown considerably over the years! Expect some of that existing content to be tweaked to match your expectations, and more added to the rotation!
Lastly, you might have caught our recent animated shorts on Youtube. We have many more ideas to bring the world of Pocket Champs to life like this — you’ll soon get a survey about the visual styles you prefer! 🎨

When Can I Expect All Of That?
We’re doing things a bit differently this year — increasing the frequency of our new content drops all the while taking more time refining and testing new concepts. Again, we don’t want to fix what’s not broken!
To help us achieve that, we’ll be much more often relying on experimental changes (which some of you might remember used to be called “🧪 Mad-Lab Experiments” 🤓) — where randomly selected players will have a different experience (from minor modified visuals to altered progression systems) that we may choose to apply to everyone if satisfactory, or to remove and try something else!
With today’s message, what we really want here is to guarantee that the Pocket Champs experience you’ve come to love is here to stay — and will only evolve in ways that match what our awesome community wants this game to be! Thanks again for your incredible passion. 🥳
We’ll see you on the race tracks!
