⭐ Feb. 25 — Update 5.5 Notes: “Gadget Ascent” Event opens every 2 weeks!
We heard you, Coaches!
Thousands of you answered our survey about “Mountain Quest”, our Winter 2024 Event. We’re happy to announce that it’s coming back with improvements… and a new name! 🤯
Introducing “Gadget Ascent”, a solo Event that will open for 3 days every 2 weeks during the weekend, starting for the first time on February 28, 09:00 AM UTC. Keep reading to discover what we improved!
🏆 Requirement: You need at least 1,000 Trophies to access Gadget Ascent from the Events Menu.
📆 Duration: Gadget Ascent opens every 2 weeks on Friday, at 09:00 AM UTC. It ends after 72 hours.
🎯 Objective: Complete Gadget Ascent Races to earn Medals that unlock personal Rewards!
📢 Gadget Modifiers: In this Event, every Race asks you to pick between 2 Gadget modifiers that apply only to you!
🎟 Special Tickets: In this Event, you need to use 1 special Gadget Ascent Ticket to start a Race.
💡 There are many ways to get more Gadget Ascent Tickets during the event: complete your Daily Coach Missions, claim your daily Gadget Ascent Gift, check your Daily Deals or open Training Bags! Finished the Event with leftover Tickets? Don’t worry, they’ll be converted into Gems.
🎁 Rewards: As you gain Medals, you’ll unlock increasingly bigger rewards such as having a choice between 2 Legendary Gadget Cards! During the event, all rewards are displayed on your Medal gauge.
Compared to the Mountain Quest Event from December 2024, we have made the following changes:
• We added extra ways of finding Event Tickets in Daily Deals and Daily Missions!
• We added a new type of reward: an opportunity to choose between 2 Gadget Cards, up to Legendary!
• We adjusted how many Tickets you get from Training Bags so that Legendary Bags are worth the wait.
• Finishing 4th or 5th now gives more Medals than finishing 6th.
• Specific Gold and Gadget Card rewards will be improved by your current League multiplier.
💡 Note: Because this has become a biweekly event, there won’t be exclusive rewards to unlock.
With all of the above changes, we wished to address specific complaints of frustration or confusion that we observed in comments from the community about Mountain Quest, which is not what we want Pocket Champs to bring to our fans.
